About CieloWeb Share

Our Commitment to a Private & Open Web

CieloWeb Share was built on the fundamental belief that your conversations and data are your own. We are dedicated to building tools that empower users, not exploit them.

01

Privacy First

Your privacy isn't an afterthought; it's the foundation of this service. All communication is end-to-end encrypted using modern, open standards (DTLS-SRTP). We can't see your files, read your messages, or listen to your calls, and we have no desire to.

DTLS-SRTP encryption on all streams

We cannot read your messages or files

E2EE fingerprint verification

Zero data collected from P2P sessions

How a connection works

1

Your browser generates a unique peer ID

2

A minimal signaling server helps two peers find each other

3

Direct P2P connection established via WebRTC

4

Signaling server is no longer involved

5

All data travels encrypted between devices only

02

Decentralized by Design

CieloWeb Share uses peer-to-peer (P2P) technology. This means your data travels directly between your device and the recipient's. We don't have central servers that store or process your files. We only use a minimal "signaling" server to help the two browsers find each other to establish a connection.

03

An Open & Free Web

We are part of a movement that believes in a more decentralized, transparent, and user-respecting internet. CieloWeb Share is a tool built with this philosophy in mind. To learn more about our other projects and our mission, visit our main site at cieloweb.com.
